ABOUT MEGHANMeghan is an award-winning journalist and audio producer based in New York City.
Meghan is the Production Director at WFUV 90.7, an NPR affiliate in the Bronx. Before that, she was the news editor & producer in the newsroom where she produced the daily news podcast “What’s What” and reported feature stories. She also works as a freelance journalist, audio producer and audio engineer. Her freelance work has been featured on podcasts produced by PRX, Dow Jones, MarketWatch, Best Case Studios, BikerLass Productions, Midnight MPH, Evanston Rules and WFUV 90.7. She’s currently editing & mixing episodes for Season 3 of PRX’s “Food, We Need to Talk.”
She got her start in audio when she co-conceived and created the podcast, How to Save the World. The show focused on climate change-solutions and making science accessible for a broad audience. She was responsible for every element of podcast production until the show wrapped in 2021.
She is the proud recipient of a Masters Degree from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism, where she studied part-time while working full-time during the pandemic. She also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in theater from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with a dual degree in Environmental Studies and a minor in Anthropology. Prior to pursuing journalism she played pretend on stage for a living. Ask her about all the different animals she’s had to portray on stage — you won’t regret it.
